About Aerospacelab
Aerospacelab designs and manufactures small satellites combined with earth observation services. Since 2018, the company has grown to over 300 full-time employees across offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland), and the US West Coast. The team spans hardware design, software development, and data science.
Role overview
- Design and analyze satellite antenna systems, including direct radiating array (DRA) antennas, reflector antennas and array fed reflector antennas
- Support all aspects of the development chain: requirements, architecture, design, manufacturing, integration, test, operations
- Work with various teams (mechanical, electrical, software, thermal)
- Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance
- Work closely with external antenna providers to write specifications, review designs, identify and resolve issues, and develop integration and test approaches
- Develop test plans that ensure adequate testing of units and the complete system
- Execute in-lab testing and on-orbit performance validation, using advanced RF measurement tools (network analyzers, anechoic chambers)
