Role overview

You will support electrical and electronics subsystem design for spacecraft missions, including:

  • Power electronics, sensor interface, digital hardware and embedded software
  • All aspects of the development chain: specification, design, integration, test, operations and maintenance
  • Design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance
  • Digital and analog embedded hardware design
  • Test plans for units and complete systems

You will work in a small team of electronics engineers within the spacecraft electronics group and collaborate with flight software, FPGA developers and mechanical engineers.

Requirements

  • MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or related field
  • No work experience or first work experience
  • Ability to work across teams to drive designs to completion
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Good English knowledge

Nice to have

  • Passion for technology and rapid execution of sophisticated space missions
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, Java, C, C++)
  • Experience with PCB design, assembly, debug and system level testing methodologies
  • Proficiency with common industry electronic design software
