Role overview
As a Senior AOCS engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of attitude and orbit control solutions for satellites across various missions. You will ensure missions achieve required performance in pointing, stability and robustness, and improve the design and simulation toolchain. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will guide AOCS design from concept through launch.
Duties
- Lead technical development and testing of Attitude and Orbit Control Systems at project level
- Participate in development of simulation products
- Support LEOP and AOCS commissioning activities
- Provide support and analyses for mission and systems engineering, and operations
- Support preparation of project proposals
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong demonstrated skillset in AOCS design
- Experience building complex simulations and models
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
- Good English knowledge
Nice to have
- Understanding of version control in Git
- Experience supporting operations of a satellite
- Good understanding of embedded software architecture
