The Role

AnySignal builds software-defined radios and ground segment hardware for space missions. You'll own panel builds, power wiring, harnesses, terminations and RF interconnects, from a bare enclosure to tested hardware that's ready to deploy. You'll work with our engineers every day to improve designs and build processes.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble control panels, enclosures and rack systems from drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Wire AC/DC power distribution: breakers, terminal blocks, power supplies, grounding and bonding.
  • Make, route, label and dress harnesses for power, signal, Ethernet, fiber and coax.
  • Terminate RF connectors (SMA, N-type, TNC) and sweep each assembly for loss and VSWR.
  • Bring finished builds online with continuity, polarity and functional checks, and fix defects before release.
  • Diagnose wiring and hardware problems down to the part using meters, cable certifiers and RF instruments.
  • Record as-built details and test data, and write the work instructions others build from.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of wiring, assembling and testing electrical hardware in a production or lab setting.
  • Deep experience building panels and low-voltage AC/DC power systems.
  • Excellent crimping, soldering and termination skills, including coax.
  • Fluency reading schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical prints.
  • Confidence with meters, crimpers, strippers, drills and other shop equipment.
  • Self-direction: you take a task from start to finish and solve problems as they come up.
  • Ability to handle loads up to 50 lbs.

Nice to Have

  • Background in space, satellite ground segment or telecom hardware.
  • Hands-on time with a VNA, spectrum analyzer, cable/antenna analyzer or power meter.
  • Training in IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 workmanship.
  • Experience installing servers and switches with structured copper and fiber cabling.
  • UL 508A / NEC panel practices, plus grounding and surge protection for antenna systems.
  • Exposure to motors, drives or control systems.

Compensation

Base salary range: $30-$40 per hour, plus equity. Total compensation includes equity grant and full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA and 401K.
