About AnySignal
AnySignal is developing next-generation RF products and services for space and defense missions. We're building a flexible, high-performance platform that's easy to deploy, monitor, and scale.
The Role
As an RF Hardware Engineer, you will own the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated RF devices for space customers. You'll work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers on a full-stack approach to space communications systems.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own RF products across PCB, box, and integration levels
- Own trades and analyses on new designs and question requirements
- Bring up, troubleshoot, and qualify new designs
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams on large-scale production
Required Experience
- 3+ years designing circuitry in RF bands across frontend and conversion chains
- End-to-end PCB design experience: schematic capture, layout, fabrication, and assembly
- Proficiency with Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer
- Deep understanding of RF metrics: S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, and EVM
- Strong knowledge of RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis
- Experience with test instruments: oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers
- Hands-on experience with low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phase locked loops, oscillators, and filters
Desired Skills
- Advanced PCB design in Altium Designer
- Component selection for radiation-susceptible environments
- Experience with AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, and similar digital-analog conversion interfaces
- Soldering and reworking boards (0402 SMP components, QFN packages)
- Communications link modeling and DSP fundamentals
- Antenna design, simulation, and measurement in near-field and far-field regimes
- High-PAPR signals and DPD concepts
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: $130,000-$180,000 per year, plus equity. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, and 401K.
