About the Role
You'll work as a fully integrated member of Apex's engineering team on ground software for commercial satellite buses. Your responsibilities include design, development and deployment of the software that operates our satellites. You'll own a scoped project and take on meaningful tickets across the ground software stack.
This is a 12-week internship program with hands-on experience, a dedicated mentor, learning sessions in aerospace, and community events with peers and industry professionals.
Requirements
- Graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in a related field
- Strong understanding of software architecture
- Experience with Rust, C/C++ for backend, Vue or React for frontend is preferred
- Spring interns must be available to pause or adjust academic commitments (such as taking a semester off or enrolling part-time) for the duration of the program
