The Role
As Ground Software Engineer, you will design and implement graphical interfaces and full-stack software supporting ground operations and mission control for our satellite constellation. You will be an integral member of the Software Team, working closely with USA division colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement graphical interfaces for software applications in support of mission operations for constellation-based satellites
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for websites and applications
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly
- Create responsive designs optimized for mobile and other devices
- Work with relational and non-relational database systems
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years in frontend and backend development roles
- Full stack development proficiency
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with frameworks: NodeJS, FastAPI, React, Angular, Vue, Flutter, Swift, or Android Studio
- Programming languages: Node.js, Java, Python, Go, or equivalent
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Version control systems
- Containerization with Docker
- Comfortable working on Linux and Windows environments
- Ability to integrate third-party code with existing systems
- Familiarity with DevOps implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- DevOps concepts in complex environments
- Continuous integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Container managers: Docker-Compose or Kubernetes
- Cloud providers, specifically AWS
Education
BTech, MCA, or MSc
