The Role
This is a 12-week salaried associate position for recent graduates. You will work on hard problems with real impact, including hardware and software destined for space.
- RTL development for FPGA-targeted applications
- Work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains
- Interface FPGAs with high-speed data converters, memories, and MCUs
- Write software to interface and test RTL in hardware
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Passion for hardware development in fast-paced, hands-on environments
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing high-throughput FPGA systems
- Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis
Bonus Skills
- UVM and advanced SystemVerilog verification
- Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado IDE
- TCL scripting
- System-level estimates for power, thermal, and area
- High-speed data converters (ADCs, DACs, JESD204B)
- Circuit-level debugging
- Digital communication theory (LDPC implementations)
- Space-based systems
- Modern communication systems (RF, IF/IQ, modulation)
- Experience beyond logic design (DSP, software, fault analysis)
Compensation
Base salary: $1,925 per week.
