The Role
This is a 12-week salaried associate position for recent graduates from a four-year university. You will work on challenging hardware problems that directly contribute to satellites in orbit.
- Develop RTL for FPGA targeted applications
- Work with multiple FPGAs and design toolchains
- Interface FPGAs with high-speed data converters, memories, and MCUs
- Write software to interface and test RTL in hardware
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineering teams
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing high throughput systems on FPGAs
- Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis
- Passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Experience
- UVM and advanced SystemVerilog verification
- Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado IDE
- TCL scripting
- High-speed data converters (ADCs, DACs, JESD204B)
- Circuit-level debugging
- Digital communication theory (LDPC implementations)
- Space-based systems
- Modern communication systems (RF, IF/IQ, modulation)
- Expertise in DSP, radio design, software, or high-reliability design
Compensation
Base salary: $1,925 per week.
