About the Role
As an RF Validation Associate, you will work on critical RF components for Astranis satellites. This is a 12-week salaried position for recent bachelor's degree holders, offering real impact on hardware that flies in space.
What You Will Do
- Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, oscillators, and other RF components
- Write automation code to speed up and standardize measurements
- Document test plans, measurement methodologies, and results for review
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or related technical field
- Deep knowledge of basic RF concepts: transmission lines, S-parameters, RF building blocks (amps, mixers, attenuators)
- Experience taking RF measurements with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers
- Experience with Python and object-oriented programming
- Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Skills
- Antennas and electromagnetics propagation knowledge
- Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR)
- Experience automating RF measurements
Compensation and Requirements
Base salary: $1,925 per week.
U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required to comply with U.S. space technology export regulations.
