The Role

You will work as a Launch Integration Engineer reporting to a Senior Launch Integration Engineer and the Director of the Mechanical Department at our Littleton, Colorado facility. This is a multi-disciplinary engineering role combining coordination, hands-on integration work, and mechanical design support.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate, compile, review, and submit launch vehicle-required deliverables, including internal coordination with program managers and mechanical design and structural leads
• Provide in-person, hands-on support of spacecraft launch integration at various launch sites
• Support spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing as needed
• Assist mechanical design engineers in designing and procuring ground support equipment (GSE) using CAD and drawing creation
• Provide occasional in-person support of vibration testing
• Arrange shipment of vehicles and toolsets to launch and test facilities
• Coordinate with launch support providers on integration activities
• Create handling and testing procedures for vibration tests and launch integration

What We're Looking For

You are meticulous, self-motivated, and passionate about aerospace technology. You are comfortable with multi-disciplinary work, willing to learn new skills, and prepared to travel regularly (approximately 6-8 times per year).

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field. Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding of aerospace systems fundamentals, particularly launch vehicle payload requirements
• CAD design experience to support GSE design and procurement
• Extensive first-hand experience handling and integrating flight hardware
• Fundamental knowledge of fastener torques, spaceflight material requirements, adhesive application, and mechanical integration practices
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings
• Familiarity with SpaceX Falcon 9 and other launch vehicle rideshare requirements

Clearance and Legal Requirements

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 22 CFR Section 120.15 and 8 U.S.C. Section 1324b(a)(3) is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $90,000-$110,000 annually depending on experience level.

Employment Details

Full-time position, onsite in Littleton, Colorado with 1-2 days per week hybrid permitted.
