The Role

You will be responsible for the assembly, integration and test of complex satellite subsystems and payloads. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong manual dexterity and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, integration and test of satellite subsystems including electronics modules, mechanical structures, propulsion systems, antennas and payloads.
• Collaborate with the Test Engineering Team for functional and performance tests on integrated subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Maintain detailed records of all assembly, integration and test activities.
• Adhere to strict quality control procedures and cleanroom protocols.
• Ensure all integration activities are performed in accordance with design specifications and project timelines.
• Assist in the development and improvement of integration and test procedures.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment within the cleanroom.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-4 years hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, integration, manufacturing or test within a technical or precision-focused environment.
• Experience using basic hand tools, torque tools, measurement tools and standard assembly equipment.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform accurate, repeatable work.
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for precision assembly tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and follow ESD, FOD and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical trade school, associate degree or military technical experience.
• IPC Solder Certifications.
• Experience with soldering, cable/harness assembly, connector terminations or electronic integration work.
• Experience with Spacecraft Lifting and Handling Procedures.
• Experience working on developmental satellite systems.
• Experience in Harness Manufacturing and Solar Cell Laydown.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience with space-qualified components.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on candidate experience and alignment. Benefits include company stock options, healthcare, 401k retirement plan and PTO.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending and reaching may be required.

Export Control Requirement

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status or protected person status under 22 CFR 120.15 and 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) is required.
