About the Role

This is an internship conversion opportunity: you must have successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2026 to apply. You will start full-time in September 2027 or later as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer I, supporting Blue Origin's corporate functions and business units across multiple locations.

What You Will Do

  • Work on guidance, navigation and control systems for reusable space vehicles
  • Contribute to rapid development programmes as part of a core engineering team
  • Develop technical solutions with minimal direction while collaborating across teams
  • Apply your aerospace or mechanical engineering foundation to spaceflight challenges

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed Blue Origin internship in 2026
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduating from a college or university
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, astronautical engineering, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for space mission and commitment to continuous learning
  • U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant internship, co-op or academic project experience demonstrating technical and leadership skills
  • Hands-on project experience
  • Co-curricular engagement

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay ranges by location:

  • California, Washington, Virginia: $87,816 to $122,942.40
  • Colorado: $80,499 to $112,697.55
  • Other site ranges may differ
