About the Role
This is an internship conversion opportunity: you must have successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2026 to apply. You will start full-time in September 2027 or later as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer I, supporting Blue Origin's corporate functions and business units across multiple locations.
What You Will Do
- Work on guidance, navigation and control systems for reusable space vehicles
- Contribute to rapid development programmes as part of a core engineering team
- Develop technical solutions with minimal direction while collaborating across teams
- Apply your aerospace or mechanical engineering foundation to spaceflight challenges
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Blue Origin internship in 2026
- Currently enrolled or recently graduating from a college or university
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, astronautical engineering, or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for space mission and commitment to continuous learning
- U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant internship, co-op or academic project experience demonstrating technical and leadership skills
- Hands-on project experience

Compensation and Benefits
Base pay ranges by location:
- California, Washington, Virginia: $87,816 to $122,942.40
- Colorado: $80,499 to $112,697.55
- Other site ranges may differ
