About the Role

This position is for interns who successfully completed a 2026 Blue Origin internship and wish to convert to a full-time Software Development Engineer I role. You will join Blue Origin's corporate functions, providing centralized support across business unit teams, functions, and locations.

What You'll Need

  • Successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2026
  • Enrolled or recently graduating student from a college or university
  • Able to start full-time on or before September 2027
  • B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, astronautical engineering, or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for Blue Origin's mission with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve
  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant internship, co-op, and academic project experience demonstrating technical skills and leadership
  • Hands-on project experience
  • Co-curricular engagement

Compensation

Base pay range varies by location:

  • CA, WA, VA: $110,623.00 - $154,871.85
  • CO: $101,405.00 - $141,966.30
  • Other site ranges may differ
