What You'll Do
As an Aerospace Systems Engineer, you will design and engineer overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support. You will work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
- Apply systems engineering to fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems including system definition, systems test, integration, safety, operations and verification.
- Decompose internal customer requirements into test system requirements specifications with bi-directional traceability.
- Develop and manage interfaces through requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and drawings.
- Lead and present at major gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on system technical readiness and status of Systems Engineering deliverables.
- Own verification and validation planning, traceability and completion through test plan creation and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field, earned within the last year.
- Able to start by Fall 2026.
- Experience with aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering on complex systems.
- Ability to break down complex problems into traceable tasks and communicate project status concisely.
- Relevant internship, co-op, or hands-on experience demonstrating technical skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and strengthen a culture of inclusion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
- Flexible and adaptable mindset with self-driven initiative and ability to seek requirements with minimal direction.
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area.
- Experience with requirements development and management tools such as Jama.
- Experience with systems engineering modeling tools such as Rhapsody or Cameo.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with Flight Dynamics.
- Previous customer-facing roles with experience presenting to and directly interacting with customers.

Compensation
Base pay range varies by location:
- Colorado applicants: $74,537.00 - $104,351.10
- Washington applicants: $81,313.00 - $113,837.85
- Other site ranges may differ

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Background checks are required for all positions. Additional requirements such as Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background checks may apply depending on role requirements and military installation access.
