About the Role

This position supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle designed to carry people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar space, and beyond. The vehicle features a fully reusable first stage and was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a diverse engineering team, you will work on design, analysis, development, and qualification of pressurized liquid and gas systems on the reusable launch vehicle across extreme environments from cryogenic to hot gas temperatures. You will contribute to all aspects of mechanical design, requirements, layouts, analysis, component selection, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and test definition.

What You'll Do

  • Design and analyze pressurized fluid and mechanical systems
  • Perform fluid and thermal analysis on aerospace systems
  • Conduct structural analysis and material selection
  • Create engineering drawings and manage CAD models
  • Define and support component and system development testing
  • Manage vendor relationships and manufacturing processes
  • Contribute to engineering release and documentation
