About the Role

As a Document Control Specialist in Lunar Business Operations, you will ensure all Lunar documentation is controlled and created within established standards. You will lead creation, management, and control of all Lunar Operations executive-level memos. You will standardize processes, maintain document repositories, ensure compliance with company procedures, and serve as the central point of contact for all Lunar program documentation needs. This position reports directly to the Lunar Business Operations Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Create, manage, and control all Lunar Operations executive-level memos
  • Establish and maintain document control processes, systems, databases, and filing structures for all Lunar Operations documentation
  • Ensure all documents meet company standards, formatting requirements, and revision control procedures
  • Review, audit, and approve documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to release
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track document status, revisions, and approval workflows
  • Train and support team members on documentation standards, tools, and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Technical Writing, Information Management, or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in document control, technical writing, or records management within the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or other document management systems (Windchill, SAP, Confluence)
  • Project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other quality management system standards
  • Prior experience supporting NASA or government contract documentation requirements

Work Schedule and Travel

Travel expected up to 10% of the time. A-Shift position. Relocation provided.
