Role Overview

As Chief of Staff to the Senior Manufacturing Leader, you will directly support all lunar human-capable vehicle manufacturing operations. This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which oversees Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship using outstanding knowledge of strategy, business insights, and organizational structure.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making on complicated scenarios with major organizational impact.
  • Drive implementation of critical initiatives aligned with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Operations VP/SVP and leadership team to evaluate barriers to success and develop solutions.
  • Ensure effective, efficient, focused decision-making in a high-velocity aerospace environment.
  • Gather, coordinate, and present data effectively; track action items and ensure decisions are executed.
  • Influence leadership to deliver strategic business goals on time and on target; serve as strategic expert to high-value project portfolio.
  • Align strategy across Operations VP leadership team with overall organizational goals; develop policies and procedures with significant organizational impact.
  • Manage strategic and tactical priorities; connect work streams and develop content with Operations VP.
  • Coordinate internal communications including company announcements, quarterly updates, and all-hands presentations.
  • Identify, shape, and lead pivotal initiatives and emergent challenges lacking single-threaded owners.
  • Lead change management activities to evaluate, coordinate, and approve new requirements or changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree minimum; preference toward Engineering Disciplines.
  • 10 years of relevant program management or operational experience.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and data communication skills.
  • Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational influences.
  • Demonstrated history of independent work, foreseeing problems, delivering on commitments, and accountability.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

  • Ability to collaborate with VP and leadership to refine and implement messaging for executives and workforce.
  • Demonstrated domain experience operating within at least one corporate function (Engineering, Business Management, or Operations preferred).
