About the role

This Executive Assistant position supports Blue Origin's Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Moon landers and sustainable infrastructure for crew and cargo transport to the lunar surface. You'll provide administrative support to the leadership team, helping coordinate business priorities and ensure efficient operations.

What you'll do

  • Executive support - Work closely with senior management, keep them informed of commitments and responsibilities, and follow up appropriately. Manage requests and emails to prioritize high-impact tasks.
  • Calendar management - Manage an extremely active schedule of appointments. Plan and coordinate schedules, acting as gatekeeper to executives while creating win-win situations for appropriate access.
  • Travel - Arrange complex domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, and meeting agendas. Compile travel documents and complete expense reports on time while enforcing policy.
  • Event planning - Organize team events including leadership off-sites, team building, and programme reviews. Align with strategic objectives while maintaining lean budgets.
  • Meeting facilitation - Prepare and facilitate large attendance meetings including Ask Me Anything, Town Halls, and All Staff meetings.
  • Organization - Perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail. Handle matters expeditiously under deadline pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • Cross collaboration - Build relationships with stakeholders across business units to improve operations and break down communication barriers.
  • Writing and editing - Compose draft documents and correspondence, sometimes confidential. Review customer-facing white papers and proposals for quality and grammar.

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience supporting senior level executives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a bias for action
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Emotional maturity and positive, low-stress behavior
  • U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card), or lawfully admitted as refugee/asylee

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Aerospace environment experience
  • Technical or manufacturing environment experience

Compensation and benefits

Base pay range for WA applicants: $32.51 - $45.51 per hour
