About the Role
As a Structures Technician, you will fabricate, assemble, and align large aerospace components for both flight and non-flight hardware. Working from engineering drawings and detailed instructions, you will build tight-tolerance structures that ensure the highest standards of quality and mission readiness.
What You'll Do
- Fabricate, assemble, and align structural aerospace components to engineering specifications.
- Drill precision holes using power feed, track, and hand drills across aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composite materials while maintaining strict tolerances and angularity.
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, marking, and application of sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers.
- Fixture and secure components using jigs and specialized tooling for accurate alignment.
- Operate calibrated measurement devices including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
- Inspect assemblies, identify discrepancies, and execute repairs or modifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas following 5S principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve technical challenges.
- Manage handling and integration of flight and non-flight hardware throughout production.
- Document work and communicate with engineering and quality teams.
Team & Project
You will be part of the Structures assembly team manufacturing and assembling Lunar Vehicle Systems. This team plays a pivotal role in advancing aerospace component efficiency and reliability.
Location & Shifts
Space Coast, FL. Multiple shift options available:
- A Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- B Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- C Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- D Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Minimum Qualifications
- 0-3 years aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field experience (Level I Technician), or 3+ years (Level II), or 5+ years (Level III), or 8+ years (SR Level).
- Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with precision calibration and measurement tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, fasteners, and 5S cleanliness principles.
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite).
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card), or lawfully admitted as refugee or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled in hand drills, power feed drills, track drills, Jiffy/E-Tech tools, and drilling jigs.
- Understanding of drill speeds, feeds, hole tolerances, and angularity for various aerospace materials.
- Demonstrated experience in surface preparation, part marking, and finishing techniques.
- Experience in sealing, bonding, painting, and priming for aerospace applications.
- Ability to manage and assemble both flight and non-flight hardware.
- Skilled in handling large aerospace components and assembling tight-tolerance structures.
- Trade school training, industry certifications, or relevant technical degree.
- Record of success as a hands-on doer or technical leader.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Mentality for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Experience supporting new product introduction or prototype builds.
