Sr. New Glenn Range Safety Compliance Engineer - Ground Operations Verified today
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a small, passionate team, you will work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for New Glenn. This critical role supports regulatory compliance efforts on the NG program with the US Space Force Space Launch Deltas 45 and 30. You will provide leadership in maintaining critical ground safety compliance products for the New Glenn launch vehicle program.
You will develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and with US government partners at the US Space Force. You must be proactive in planning sophisticated products across many technical subject areas while developing, delivering, and communicating results in support of Range Safety Compliance. You must have a working knowledge of SSCMAN 91-710 requirements and demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent technical management field
- Meaningful and demonstrable experience with Range Safety requirements, for example SSCMAN 91-710
- Proven experience with large-scale, development aerospace programs
- Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent judgement and comfort making high-quality, high-velocity decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong track record of product ownership
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
Compensation
Base pay ranges by location: CA and WA $145,188.00 to $203,263.20; CO $133,500.00 to $186,898.95. Other site ranges may differ.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Background checks required for all positions. Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check may be required if the role requires access to military installations. Commercial motor vehicle operation and hazardous materials transport may require additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations compliance.
