About the role

You will contribute to FPGA circuit and system development across all phases: design, verification, test and deployment. Your work will include high-speed serial interfaces, digital data streams, multiple clock domains and management interfaces. Testing, validation and verification are central to this position.

What you will do

  • Design FPGA systems at the HDL level
  • Verify and test FPGA designs using industry tools
  • Deploy FPGA circuits for satellite and aerospace systems
  • Use lab instruments including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generators

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university
  • University experience in FPGA design, analysis and implementation at the HDL level
  • Expertise in FPGA design and verification: Verilog, VHDL, HDL coder, Xilinx Vivado, Modelsim or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators and vector signal analyzers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred experience

  • Aerospace design and qualification
  • Worst-case analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, and reliability analysis
  • Board-level hardware design
  • Digital signal processing and communications systems
