Role

You will design, analyze, and implement engineering test plans and procedures for satellite, spacecraft, and aerospace communication systems. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with design and test engineering teams to develop test requirements
  • Mapping requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures
  • Implementing test plans and procedures in the lab
  • Logging and presenting test results to key stakeholders
  • Managing lab equipment and guiding equipment purchase decisions
  • Architecting RF test systems and drawing insights from test data
  • Participating in design for test planning from early product development stages
  • Presenting engineering design review materials to customers and executive leadership
  • Contributing to proposal-writing efforts

Senior-level engineers are expected to architect systems, mentor teams across disciplines, and influence product development through early test planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years RF test industry experience (or 4 years with a master's degree)
  • Proven experience in design, analysis, and implementation of RF test systems
  • High proficiency with RF measurements: linearity, NSD, EVM, and related metrics
  • Test architecture design including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers
  • Proficiency with statistics and metrology as applied to RF test design
  • Hands-on lab experience with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (export control requirement)

Preferred Experience

  • Phased array testing
  • Programming or scripting in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar languages
  • Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware: amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, antennas, and effects on test design
