0D/1D Propulsion Modelling Engineer
HyPrSpace is developing next-generation, affordable propulsion technology for civil and defence applications. Join as a propulsion systems modelling engineer and take ownership of physical model development, validation and industrialisation for hybrid propulsion and associated fluid and thermal systems.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and validate models for hybrid combustion chambers, LOx feed systems, pressurisation systems, cryogenic circuits and propulsion subsystems
- Apply numerical modelling and scientific computing to support system design and technical decision-making
- Build expertise and progressively take responsibility for modelling activities across specific physical domains
Your profile
- Degree: Engineering diploma or Master's (5 years) in aerospace, mechanical, thermal/fluid or scientific computing
- Experience: Junior level, 0 to 2 years
- Technical skills: Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, compressible flows, heat transfer, combustion and numerical modelling
- Practical experience with 0D/1D physical modelling
- Rigorous, curious, inventive approach with strong technical ownership
- French fluent, English B2 minimum
Contract and location
Fixed-term contract, 6 to 12 months. Le Haillan, France.
