What You'll Do

As a Senior Build and Integration Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly and manufacture of flight vehicles, test articles, and ground support equipment for our next-generation reentry vehicles.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Fluid component testing and fluid system fabrication
  • Pressure testing and hydraulic diagnostics
  • Metal fabrication and welding
  • Electrical installation and troubleshooting
  • Machine operation and lifting/rigging
  • Work across all aspects of vehicle assembly and integration

You will develop skills as a generalist across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, military, or automotive testing, fabrication, or a related field
  • Professional experience debugging and conducting basic electrical tests
  • Track record of attention to detail, good craftsmanship, and pride in work quality
  • Track record of safe work habits
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret security clearance
  • Must meet ITAR compliance requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required Department of State authorizations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using work orders, inventory requests, schematics, and drawings
  • Ability to provide valuable critiques of work orders and workflows for continuous improvement
  • Experience working with and learning new data acquisition software products
  • Demonstrated experience in fast-paced and constantly adapting environments
  • Capable of being self-sufficient with little guidance
  • Prior experience working in startups and small independent teams
  • Experience with parachute design fundamentals and CAD tools (NX, Creo, Solidworks)

Location and Compensation

This position requires in-office presence at our headquarters in Playa Vista, California.

California annual base salary range: $47-61 per hour. Pay is determined by role, level, location, market data, interviews, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, and internal equity.
