The Role

You are part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and upgrading Isar Aerospace's engine test facility located at Esrange in the Swedish Arctic. You own responsibility for the test facility's electrical system, including maintenance, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Upgrade electrical systems of the test facility
  • Install, wire and troubleshoot electrical systems including analog and digital sensors, actuators, control panels and cabinets (230/400VAC and 24VDC)
  • Prepare test articles and related subsystems for testing
  • Maintain the facility's electrical systems and update documentation accordingly
  • Support testing operations as required, including performing manual operations on pressurized and cryogenic systems

What We Need

  • Degree and proven experience as an electrician, electrical technician or similar, preferably in a high-tech or industrial setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English

Bonus Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems, preferable Beckhoff
  • Familiarity with ATEX regulations, high-pressure environments, and cryogenic systems
  • Occupational trade school qualification in an electrical field
