Propulsion Intern, Propulsion Verified today
Your Role
You will support the development and validation of engine cycle calculation models and propulsion system analysis tools that directly support engine design and testing activities.
- Migrate engine component characterization data into a scalable and maintainable database structure
- Develop and implement a graphical user interface (GUI) to enable engineers and technicians to interact efficiently with the parameter database
- Perform statistical analysis of historical engine operating data and engine load point prediction data to identify trends, outliers, and data quality issues
- Develop data visualization tools and automated analysis workflows to support model calibration, validation, and engineering decision-making
- Support the definition and evaluation of dedicated test cases to verify orifice modelling assumptions and improve model fidelity
- Conduct sensitivity studies to assess the impact of key orifice design features on model performance and engine behavior
