Role

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer in the Power Systems product line, you will update the embedded software for existing satellite power systems. You will be responsible for modernization of firmware on STM32 microcontrollers, covering drivers, communication, safety logic, and application code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve embedded software for legacy products, including implementing updates, resolving defects and refactoring existing code.
• Review, structure and document existing code and software architectures to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Investigate technical issues and provide software-related support to customers when required.
• Coordinate with engineering, product management and other internal stakeholders to align priorities and communicate technical impacts.
• Develop clean, maintainable and well-documented solutions using Python and C++, with Git for version control.
• Work systematically to analyse complex problems, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
