About the role

You will join our team as an RF Systems Engineer, responsible for analysing, ensuring, and improving the performance of RF systems and components. This role focuses on complex RF issues, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns, and optimising performance across various operating conditions.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform antenna and RF system simulations using industry-standard software to analyse and predict performance on various platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Analyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimise system performance, and propose solutions.
  • Identify RF-related issues such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC challenges, and design solutions including grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to integrate RF systems into satellites and develop them as stand-alone products.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct field tests and performance evaluations to ensure RF systems meet operational requirements and customer expectations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in RF engineering.

What you bring

  • Strong analytical skills and solid background in RF theory and microwave engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of RF system development.
