RF Test Engineer – Ground Segment Verified today
Role Overview
As a Ground Segment RF Test Engineer, you will support the integration, validation, and testing of satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure RF compatibility and mission readiness.
Responsibilities
- Perform RF compatibility testing between ground segment systems and satellites
- Support integration and validation of new features and services
- Configure, operate, and maintain RF test equipment
- Manage customer-provided hardware (e.g. transceivers, engineering models)
- Develop and execute test procedures and produce technical test reports
- Collaborate with software, DSP, and operations teams
- Provide technical support to customers during RF test campaigns
Requirements
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in RF or telecommunications engineering
- Experience with satellite communication systems or ground segment operations
- Strong understanding of RF systems and testing methodologies
- Experience working with Linux/Ubuntu environments
- Fluent in English
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RF test equipment and measurement techniques
- Python scripting skills
- Familiarity with Safran tools (CRT, CORTEX, NURON, SATCORE)
- Experience working with international customers
- Previous experience in technical coordination, project leadership, or team leadership
