About the role

Within MaiaSpace development teams, you will contribute to system engineering activities with a focus on launch system coherency and FM1 flight readiness.

As a Launch System Engineer, you will support the on-time delivery of the Flight Worthiness File for FM1, through requirement structuration, system validation management, and the development and maturation of system engineering tools and processes.

Your responsibilities

System Engineering

  • Contribute to system engineering activities at launcher level
  • Support Model-Based Engineering (MBE) approaches
  • Support the on-time delivery of the Flight Worthiness File for FM1

Requirements management and architecture

  • Structure and capture system requirements
  • Support the maturation of FBS (Functional Breakdown Structure) and PBS (Product Breakdown Structure)
  • Ensure consistency between system requirements and risk analysis
  • Manage the link between system requirements and requirements databases

Validation and flight readiness

  • Follow-up of Key Characteristics (KC)
  • Link between requirements and tests
  • Contribution to Operational Readiness (OR) activities

Tools and processes

  • Contribute to the development of system engineering tools and processes
  • Support the maturation of existing tools
  • Support the development of sequential tools related to validation and flight readiness
