Senior System Engineer EGSE - Kourou

Join the Avionics Control Command EGSE engineering team at MaiaSpace. You will lead the deployment and validation of the Maia launcher control command and EGSE systems at the Centre Spatial Guyanais (CSG), maintain them in operational conditions, and contribute to test and flight campaigns. You will also participate in the design, definition, and development of Control Command EGSE systems.

Control Command EGSE are part of the EGSE family of benches that support the avionics teams in monitoring the launcher vehicle and all its subassemblies throughout their life phases, from testing and integration to launch operations and stage recovery.

Your responsibilities

Deploy, validate and maintain at CSG:

  • Lead deployment by coordinating with subcontractor teams as needed.
  • Lead validation and acceptance campaigns in Kourou; contribute to validation logics, test definition, execution, analysis, and anomaly management.
  • Maintain operational conditions by managing hardware and software configuration and performing required maintenance.

Contribute to the Avionics Control Command EGSE team:

  • Oversee coherence of EGSE system interfaces and capabilities deployed across multiple platforms in Kourou.
  • Collaborate with other MaiaSpace teams (system engineers, AIT engineers, and operators) to identify and establish system interfaces, needs, and functions for CSG platforms.
  • Collaborate with MaiaSpace CSG industrial partners to identify and establish external system interfaces and functions.
  • Guarantee system interface coherency across project life phases and roadmap evolution.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during test campaigns, anomaly investigation, and nominal operations.

Support launcher and demonstration operations:

  • Support AIT and operational teams; participate in test and launch campaigns as part of DevOps approach.

Act as local IT focal point (coordinating with IT at La Defence):

  • Act as local relay to support internal users.
  • Act as local relay for IT infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
