The Role
You are responsible for environmental tests and a broad variety of high-end mechanical test equipment. Your day-to-day work includes hands-on preparation and execution of tests, data acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation.
As part of the environmental testing group, you will:
- Elaborate test specifications and procedures in accordance with test standards and requirements, working closely with other teams
- Execute vibration tests (shaker), tensile tests, gluing tests, thermal and TVAC tests
- Keep test equipment in top working condition in coordination with technical staff and the testing head
- Extend the capabilities of test facilities or build entirely new test setups
- Prepare and finalize required documents for certification, production, or knowledge conservation; update test procedures and assist with report data
- Provide testing perspective input to design and project teams, and relay their feedback back to the testing team
- Communicate with external partners about tests as needed
What You Need
- University degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience
- Significant hands-on experience in environmental testing, especially thermal and thermal-vacuum testing
- Proven ability to develop and operate complex test beds and automated test setups
- Practical experience using LabVIEW for test automation and data acquisition
- Experience with data handling, analysis, and process development (Python skills a plus)
- Foundational knowledge of electronics for troubleshooting test setups
- Team-first approach, collaborative mindset, and hands-on problem-solving ability
