- Prototype, design, bring up and validate flight computers, communication systems, and electronics for power systems and ADCS
- Establish best practices and tooling for electrical engineering design
- Develop in-house avionics test infrastructure including flatsat, GPS sim, power sim, and comms sim
- Design and execute avionics qualification testing for vibration, shock, thermal and thermal vacuum environments and own your hardware into flight operation
Experience and Qualifications
- 4-6 years of avionics or electronics engineering experience, ideally on spacecraft
- Experience designing and validating PCBAs for the space environment or similar high performance environments
- Track record owning multiple high-reliability electronics subsystems from concept to deployment
- Ability to succeed with a high level of autonomy
- Experience iterating on requirements and architecture to achieve optimal design in constrained trade spaces
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging electronics systems
