About the Role
The Integration Technician II will play a critical role in ensuring that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality. Your primary focus will be assembly, install, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Terran R.
You will collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of aerospace processes. You must operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install flight hardware components and systems
- Perform testing and quality checks on integrated hardware
- Apply fasteners, torque, and secondary retention techniques
- Execute bonding operations and avionics assembly work
- Set up and operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, calibrated tools, and measuring devices
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on job operations and documentation
- Work on ladders and in tight spaces as required
About You
- 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations
- Technical skills including fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with engineering and production teams
- Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools, calibrated tools, and measuring devices
- Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in tight spaces
Nice to Have
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
- Electromechanical build proficiency
- Familiarity with propulsion systems and components
Schedule and Compensation
This is a weekend-shift position with a standard schedule of Friday through Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, including 8 guaranteed overtime hours each week. In addition to base pay, employees receive a 10% weekend premium.
