Avionics System Engineer Verified today
ReOrbit is hiring an Avionics Systems Engineer for our Bengaluru, India office or Helsinki HQ. You will take responsibility for the avionics systems architecture across our satellite platforms, working both autonomously and with internal teams and external partners.
What you will do
- Define the overall avionics architecture of the satellite platforms and maintain the models and diagrams throughout the project lifetime.
- Design the grounding and bonding architecture of spacecraft.
- Design and maintain electrical circuit diagrams and subsystem interfaces.
- Participate in interface definitions between different subsystems.
- Participate in supply chain definition for batteries, power distribution units, and similar components.
- Prepare reports and presentations about the avionics subsystem.
- Conduct functional testing and qualification of avionics components.
What we need
- Minimum 10 years working in avionics systems engineering or similar roles within the GEO space industry.
- Knowledge and professional experience of the full lifecycle of avionics subsystems.
- High-level systems design experience with avionics subsystems.
- Ability to analyse data, derive conclusions, manage design documentation, and review and approve design changes.
- Comfortable working closely with external vendors and consortium partners.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
