Senior Power System Engineer Verified today
Join ReOrbit's mission to deliver GEO capabilities in a smaller, faster, and more cost-effective package through the SiltaSat project. As Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will work end-to-end from design and development to Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) alongside a team of experts.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze payload and propulsion power modes across all mission phases
- Define power subsystem architecture based on mission requirements
- Create requirement specifications for power subsystem, PCDU, battery unit, solar arrays, and SADA
- Interact with external battery, solar array, PCDU and SADA vendors and internal subsystem teams
- Develop documentation based on architecture, analysis and unit specifications
- Lead subsystem AIT and define EGSE requirements and acceptance criteria
Your Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years in power systems engineering within the GEO space industry, preferably on large satellites
- Professional experience across the full lifecycle of power systems subsystems
- Strong analytical skills: data analysis, design documentation review and approval, change management
- Proven collaboration with external vendors, consortium partners and cross-functional teams
- Fluent written and spoken English
