Revolv Space develops power subsystems for small satellites, including Solar Array Drive Assemblies, solar arrays and deployment mechanisms. We are hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead electronics design and prepare our hardware for high-volume manufacturing.

Your mission

  • Lead PCB/PCBA/FPC design, schematic capture, component selection, and board bring-up
  • Serve as primary technical authority for hardware trade-offs between performance, cost and manufacturability
  • Apply and validate design changes to existing electronic systems through prototyping and testing
  • Analyze electronic systems for electromagnetic compatibility, heat transfer, radiation robustness and reliability
  • Plan and execute qualification and delta qualification campaigns for space applications
  • Embed testability (DFT) and automated integration strategies into early hardware design phases
  • Define and implement automated testing gates, End-of-Line testing protocols and automated test equipment setups
  • Optimise designs for high-volume manufacturing, yield and supply chain reliability
  • Collaborate with system integrators and contract manufacturers on assembly and testing pipelines

What you bring

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field
  • 8-12 years experience as Electronics Design Engineer with full-lifecycle board-level products
  • Industry experience with electric actuators, especially precision stepper and BLDC motors; GaNFET drivers beneficial
  • Experience with high reliability switching power supplies
  • Hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience, both pre-compliance and qualification
  • Knowledge of radiation phenomena and their impact on electronic systems, including analysis and testing methodology
  • Basic knowledge of heat generation and heat transfer phenomena
  • Demonstrated reliability analysis skills (MIL-HDBK-217 based) and FMECA/FMEA in design and production
  • Hands-on experience scaling electronics from prototypes to high-volume production
  • Strong practical knowledge of automated testing pipelines, test benches, functional testing gates and manufacturing test scripts (Python, C, C++ basics)
  • Deep familiarity with DFM, DFT and DFA principles applied early in hardware design
  • Fluent English
