  • Excellent hands-on mechanical assembly skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor.
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment, workshop machinery, tools, and assembly processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, production, quality, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and quality management practices within a production environment.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in aerospace, launch vehicles, satellites, aviation, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of assembly documentation, work instructions, assembly travelers, and configuration control processes.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Previous responsibility for technician training programs and competency management.
  • Experience supporting integration campaigns or testing activities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the launch site on Unst, Shetland Islands (UK).
