About the Role
As an Avionics AIT Technician, you will transform engineering designs into fully integrated flight hardware and test systems. Working closely with engineers and technicians, you will contribute directly to mission-critical hardware where precision, reliability, and quality are essential.
Your Tasks
- Install, route, secure, and inspect avionics hardware, cable harnesses, and electrical interfaces according to engineering drawings and aerospace standards.
- Perform electrical and mechanical integration of avionics units into test benches, qualification setups, and flight systems while ensuring proper grounding, shielding, strain relief, and EMC compliance.
- Execute functional, continuity, insulation, and end-to-end electrical tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and dedicated test equipment.
- Support troubleshooting activities by identifying, isolating, and repairing electrical and integration issues during assembly and testing.
- Document integration activities, test results, non-conformities, and quality observations in ERP systems and technical documentation.
- Follow work instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable lists, and configuration control processes to maintain product quality and traceability.
- Contribute to process improvements, tooling evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build efficiency and test reliability.
