The Role
We are looking for a Development Engineer - Valves to join our team in Augsburg. You will be involved in demanding development efforts supported by parallel test campaigns, working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment to create high-performance engineering solutions while keeping production costs at a minimum.
Your Tasks
- Design various fluidic components and valves
- Develop components from concept, through detailed design and production support to testing and integration
- Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system reliability
- Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation of components and assemblies
- Collaborate with production, testing and AIT teams
- Resolve non-conformances
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in the design and development of valves. Student team experience and internships are considered a plus
- Good CAD skills (Siemens NX or other)
- Self-starter with minimal input
- Extremely proactive and always looking for the next step
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Structured way of working
- Business level English
