About the Role
Join the Institutional Projects Team within the Program Management Department. You will support externally funded projects with ESA and other partners, working on the definition, study, and planning of future technologies, systems, engines, and vehicles.
Your Tasks
- Support managing RFA's institutional projects funded by external stakeholders (ESA, European Commission, governmental institutions) on-time, on-quality and on-budget
- Plan, schedule and monitor milestones, deliverables, and budgets
- Support technical writing and delivery of project outputs (design files, test plans and reports, presentations)
- Work and communicate effectively between internal teams and partners
- Coordinate with other departments to generate and provide input to project deliverables
- Support Business Development and contribute to proposal writing for funded projects
- Support technical work including creation of development roadmaps for future vehicles and technologies, mission and technical requirements, design studies, trade-offs, system architectures, and preliminary concepts
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Space Engineering, or similar
- Prior work experience in project management or space industry is a plus
- Knowledge of European funding programs and proposal processes (FLPP, Boost!, ELC etc.) is a big plus
- Technical affinity and enthusiasm for New Space
- Strong writing and formatting skills with command of Microsoft Office
- Business-fluent English, both spoken and written (all day-to-day work in English). German fluency is a plus
- Strong time management, team-player attitude, and emotional intelligence
- Independent, proactive, and structured approach to work
- Cost and risk awareness with strong business acumen
