The Role
We are looking for a Propulsion Production Engineer to join our international and agile Propulsion team. You will act as the critical link between Propulsion and Production, overseeing engine production, lifecycle management, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the release and lifecycle of Helix engine production and bills of materials through manufacturing and assembly
- Work with Supply Chain, Quality, Production and Operations to ensure engines are built to specification and delivered on schedule
- Develop new processes and toolsets to connect teams, reduce administrative overhead, and provide greater visibility into engine manufacturing
- Drive improvements in part manufacturability, quality controls, and work practices with focus on cost reduction
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical discipline
- At least one year's experience in manufacturing environments in a technical role; additional aerospace or engineering experience is desirable
- Structured, independent working style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, work organization, and assembly management; prior spaceflight or rocket experience is desirable
- Experience with CAD tools required; ERP, MES, and business intelligence platforms are desirable
- Siemens NX experience is desirable
- Basic coding proficiency, such as Python
- Fluent oral and written English
