Your Tasks
- Design and build test setups and test benches for propulsion systems
- Set up test benches and testing infrastructure
- Test specialised pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Develop test procedures and analyse test results
- Support propulsion design development using real test data
- Use testing, analysis, modelling and simulation tools to estimate system performance
- Create technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering or related discipline
- 3 or more years work experience in space or aeronautical systems
- Experience operating and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Practical hands-on experience from electrical or mechanical projects related to rocketry (university teams, personal project or professional work)
- Strong understanding of rocket engine systems and fluid dynamics
- Strong understanding of sensor systems and instrumentation, ideally with NI and Beckhoff equipment
- Experience with control systems and software
- Fluent English oral and written
- High willingness to travel between RFA's test and launch sites across Europe for extended periods
