The Role
We're hiring an RF Test Engineer II for our Long Beach, CA headquarters. Your team builds the tools and processes to test satellite RF subsystems and our line of radio products.
What You'll Do
- Develop RF test plans for RF subsystems and payloads.
- Manage and conduct Acceptance, Qualification and Proto-Flight test programs on RF systems.
- Design, procure and assemble automated test tools for RF subsystems.
- Support design and development of space flight hardware to increase testability and manufacturability.
- Contribute to engineering and business process development to support Rocket Lab growth.
- Contribute to engineering best practices in test, design for manufacture, and engineering change management.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience with RF hardware development and RF testing.
- U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of electrical test equipment, test procedures, data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
- Understanding of designing hardware from concept through production.
- Experience in environmental design testing (vibration, shock, thermal, TVAC).
- Project/program management skills.
Compensation
Base salary: $100,800 - $126,000 USD. Total compensation including equity: $110,875 - $143,625 USD.
