About the Role

You will design, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical components and systems for complex space-based applications. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience under guidance from experienced professionals on cutting-edge projects.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist in design and development of electrical components and systems
  • Modify and evaluate existing electrical systems to improve performance and efficiency
  • Conduct tests and simulations to validate electrical system performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards
  • Document design processes, test results, and modifications
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems
  • Stay current with electrical engineering advancements and apply new knowledge to projects
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 0-2+ years of experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components
  • Basic understanding of electrical design tools and equipment
  • Basic understanding of electrical design tasks
  • Ability to learn and receive mentorship from experienced engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering
  • Exposure to electrical design software (Capital, AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer)
  • Exposure to simulation software (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Understanding of power electronics and/or control systems
  • Exposure to microcontrollers, embedded systems, or FPGAs
  • Circuit analysis and troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers
  • Programming experience in C/C++ or Python for embedded systems
  • Exposure to Guidance, Navigation and Control systems

Compensation

Pay Range: $77,403.00 - $106,450.50

Base compensation determined on a case-by-case basis based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
