About the Role
You will assist senior engineers in the analysis, design, and evaluation of mechanical systems and components related to propulsion, structures, and environmental systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analyzing data on mechanical systems to support engineering objectives
- Contributing to the resolution of routine technical problems of limited scope and complexity
- Preparing technical documentation and reports to communicate findings and support project goals
- Working within cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- Communicating technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
What You Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0 to 2 years of experience, entry-level
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering technical principles, standards, and concepts
- Ability to help develop solutions to routine technical problems
- Ability to work in a team and follow guidance from senior engineers
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering or related field
- Familiarity with design, analysis, and test methods for mechanical systems, propulsion, structures, and environmental systems
- Experience with CAD tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or similar
- Familiarity with detail drawing standards and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material sciences
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $77,234 to $106,196.75
Your actual base compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
