About the Role

You will design, develop, and test software applications for space systems and technologies. Your responsibilities include:

  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and complete assigned tasks
  • Manage code changes using version control systems such as Git
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with development standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner
  • Document software designs, configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software development and space technologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of one or more programming languages and software development principles
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (required)
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in embedded systems or software development through coursework, internships, or employment
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum/Kanban
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Compensation

Pay Range: $83,999.00 to $115,498.25

Base compensation determined on a case-by-case basis based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
