About the Role
As Technical Quality Assurance Inspector II, you will perform detailed inspections of manufacturing goods during the production process. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting visual, dimensional and electrical inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies or final system assemblies
- Interpreting prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications and industry certifications including NASA and IPC
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating inspection findings to relevant stakeholders
- Using Microsoft Office suite tools for documentation and reporting
- Developing understanding of industry standards and certifications
Work is performed on the second shift, with a significant portion conducted under supervision or review of inspection results.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and documents
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring concepts and specifications
- Basic use and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to understand and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Experience following and providing input to work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work second shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- Advanced certifications in quality assurance or inspection, such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
- Proficiency with basic inspection hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality data analysis
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
- Experience with quality management software and databases including NC, CAPA and calibration tracking
- Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and techniques
- Experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace or defense
Compensation
Pay Range: $23.61 - $32.48 per hour
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
