About the Role
As a Test Engineer I, you will contribute to testing and validation of aerospace systems and components in an entry-level role designed to build your skills within a supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for aerospace systems and components
- Support testing activities using schematics, service manuals, test procedures, and logical troubleshooting techniques
- Contribute to generation and disposition of product non-conformances while following Product and Quality Assurance principles
- Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and complexity by applying engineering and testing principles
- Prepare and document test data, reports, and technical information to support project initiatives and team decision-making
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams under guidance of senior engineers
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and senior engineers, both verbally and in writing
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
- Typically entry-level with 0 to 2 years of experience
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams with ability to follow instructions from senior engineers
- Familiarity with requirements management, system design, and systems integration
- Exposure to planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
- Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and exposure to generation and disposition of product non-conformances
- Familiarity with schematics, service manuals, test procedures, and logical troubleshooting techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with basic engineering software tools and applications related to testing and validation
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new concepts and methodologies in test engineering
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in aerospace engineering
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences

Compensation
Pay Range: $73,175.00 to $100,615.25
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
